Designed by Martin Barr, RAMagic! is a system for transfering BBC Micro disk images from a PC to a real BBC via a 3.5" disk created on a PC. It consits of a module that is installed in to one of the ROM slots on the BBC Micro.

Simply copy the disk image onto a FAT12 PC formatted 720k 3.5" floppy and use the BBC Micro fitted with RAMagic! to convert the image into a proper flopy disc. converts ssd, dsd, img, & rom images to real Acorn DFS discs. ( Requires 1770 disc interface and dual disc drives ). See the following video for a demonstraton...

In addition to copying disc images to real BBC Micro disks RAMagic also provides a couple of additinal useful features.

• Real-Time battery-backed Clock & Calendar with optional on-screen display at power-on or <Break>. Time/Date are software accessible via OSWORD #14.
• Save & Restore entire user memory & integer % variables to battery-backed ram (NVRAM) – allows simple program development without discs or tapes.
• Flexible Auto-Boot features - automatically run your Basic or MC program from NVRAM at power on. Edit and re-save your program in seconds, no special sideways rom formatting required.
• 3 position switch sets RAMagic! to 16k SWR module* or 16k Rom module* where both are NVRAM based and retain contents after power-off ( *Not available when fitted to a Master 128 ).
